// Nissan & Infiniti

Nissan, past the engine light.

Nissan’s diagnostic system is called Consult, and its "work support" functions are where the value sits — the guided procedures that let you actually complete a repair rather than just identify it.

Work support is the point

Reading a fault code is the easy half. Nissan’s work support routines cover throttle-body idle relearn, steering angle calibration, CVT fluid deterioration reset, self-learning clear after clutch or valve-body work, brake bleed sequences and TPMS registration. Without them you can replace the right part and still leave the car driving badly.

CVT owners in particular

If you run a Nissan with a CVT, the fluid deterioration counter and learned values are worth the interface on their own. They are invisible to generic scanners and they matter for gearbox longevity.

Coverage

Nissan and Infiniti across the modern range, with Consult-style access to engine, transmission, ABS, airbag, BCM and the comfort modules.
